NJ Transit engineer saves dog spotted on train tracks

A New Jersey Transit engineer saved the day on Tuesday when he happened to see a dog on the tracks of an M&E Line train.

Anthony Guzuman stopped the train, which was traveling eastbound near Newark, after spotting the dog, the transit authority tweeted.

Some commuters didn't seem bothered the wait.

"This made me late this morning," one rider wrote on Facebook. "And it’s the first and only time I don’t mind at all."

Crews are currently working to reunite the wayward pup with their owners at Secaucus Junction. The dog said "woof"
